Most trade goes wrong in the gaps — between the quote and the contract, the factory and the port, the bill of lading and the bank. Claaz exists to close those gaps. We take commercial responsibility for the whole movement, not just the introduction, and we stay on the account until the goods are on your dock.

That means we buy in our own name where it protects you, inspect before we ship, and put every term in writing before a deposit leaves your account. It is a slower way to open a file and a far faster way to build a business.

If a lead time is tight, a certification is missing or a supplier is unproven, you will hear it from us before the purchase order — not after the deposit has cleared. A cautious quote is worth more than an optimistic one.

We don’t disappear after the deposit.

One named trade manager owns your account from first enquiry to final delivery. They know your specification, your deadlines and your customers, and they answer the phone when a container is late.

We don’t hide our margin.

Agreed fees, disclosed freight costs and open supplier pricing. You will always be able to see what you are paying for the goods and what you are paying us to move them.

Brief

Tell us the product, the volume, the destination and the date it has to land. We will tell you straight away whether it is realistic.

Shortlist

Within five working days you have vetted suppliers, indicative landed pricing and samples on their way to you.

Contract

Specification, Incoterms, inspection points, tolerances and payment terms agreed in writing before any money moves.

Control

Production is monitored and goods are inspected against the specification before a single container is sealed.

Landed

Freight booked, customs cleared, delivery scheduled. Documents in your inbox, goods on your dock, file closed.

We are deliberately small at the centre and deliberately wide at the edges. Claaz keeps its own team in London and works through long-standing agents, inspectors and freight partners in the markets we buy from and sell into.
